Knee injuries account for 15% of all interscholastic sport- related injuries. These knee injuries often result in both negative short-term and long-term quality of life reports. This presentation will help to develop an understanding of the unique physiological and anatomical aspects of the adolescent athlete. Participants will review commonly encountered knee injuries in the adolescent athlete. Finally, the course will present evidence-based evaluation and treatment strategies to help these individuals return to their ADLs and the sport activities they love.

Target Audience: Physical Therapists, Physical Therapist Assistants, Athletic Trainers

another great course! my only complaint is that this course is a part of a series but has a lot of overlap with the other courses in the series in terms of the intro to a young athlete, female athlete triad, and general info about single-sport athletes. maybe if it is marketed a ls a series, this info could be in-depth in the first course and then just quickly touched on or referred to in following courses to allow for more specific info in each segment and less review.

i noticed that there were several misspellings in the power point slides that the presenter was using.
