Practical Application of Reflex Integration

Underlying neural patterns that originate during our vital development period in the first year of life can have long lasting effects on our progression of functional skills later in life. The presence of unintegrated reflexes can lead to erroneous movement patterns and compensation techniques in a competition of involuntary and voluntary control.
