Additional Information

Kinesiology tape has been utilized since the 1970s as a technique for healing the interconnected body. While often thought of as a treatment for athletes, kinesiology taping is very versatile for many patient populations. The pediatric neuromuscular system benefits from early and continuous input for postural development and motor learning. Therapeutic taping provides an additional modality for optimal results across all pediatric patients.

This hands-on and interactive workshop will empower participants to integrate kinesiology tape into their pediatric practice. Through several lab practices and discussions participants will learn to safely and effectively applytherapeutic tape to multiple areas of the body and improve outcomes in various pediatric conditions. Participants will leave with effective evidence-based kinesiology taping strategies to integrate into their toolbox the next day to improve therapeutic outcomes.

Target Audience: Physical Therapists, Physical Therapist Assistants, Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapy Assistants, Athletic Trainers

the course was good but hard to learn virtually since it is more difficulty without being hands on

i wished some of the pictures matched up with the handout more exactly. i understand about patient safety\/protection, though i wonder if there is a way you can just blur their face or have parents sign a waiver%3f i also thought she could have gone over slower how to do cut the web spaces. i felt like that was rushed or assumed we knew how to do that...kind of confused if we have to buy it like that>

the materials you print are a little more difficult to follow with the video play back as the slides do not seem to all be included. even if the picture is not available having the words present would be helpful.

often instructor is referencing a picture on the screen live, but it is not in our handout. showing the picture briefly (vs keeping the video on the instructor) on the video would give better understanding of what her instructions are.
