Incidence of hypotonia in children is increasing across the United States and frequently affects a child's fine and gross motor development. It may also cause feeding and speech difficulties. As therapists, we know it is imperative to provide effective, hands-on strategies to children for them to make quick, successful functional gains. Immediately after taking this course, the therapist will feel more confident and comfortable treating a child with hypotonia and maximize a child's overall development with improved treatment options for this condition.
