Obesity is now at crisis levels in the United States in both children and adults. It is no longer a question of IF a clinicianwill manage a bariatric patient, but WHEN. Bariatric issue can create a formidable barrier to even the most experienced clinician. i feel it was a good beginner course. as a pt from wv i feel it did not hit the breadth of instruction i would need to increase my knowledge base. with that being said i did enjoy some of the statistics that will help me educate my patients in a productive way.
