As the body of literature regarding high intensity, aerobic training after stroke continues to grow, it's critical for clinicians to understand the science behind this treatment paradigm and to discuss optimal implementation across a variety of clinical settings. This course will examine the science behind the benefits of high intensity aerobic training and use this information to discuss application in clinical care for bothupper and lower extremity rehabilitation. It's time we challenge ourselves as a profession to switch from a pragmatic to an aspirational view of rehabilitation and work collaboratively to drive optimal care for our patients.
Target Audience: Physical Therapists, Physical Therapist Assistants, Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapy Assistants, Athletic Trainers
