Lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) can be found in up to 75% of the population. Clinicians treating patients with LUTS should use a biopsychosocial approach in the assessment and treatment of LUTS in order to improve outcomes. This course will teach you the important areas to assess in patients with urinary urgency and frequency by using an easy-to-understand acronym to help remember potential drivers to symptoms. Participants will not only have a framework with which to assess the drivers of these symptoms but will also be able to provide education andtreatment strategies.
