This course will provide an overview and background on the stages of Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) andAcquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome (AIDS). The modes of transmission along with strategies to prevent the spread of HIV will be further discussed, and will include data fromrecent evidence regarding seroconversion rates. Finally, information regarding the laws and regulations, including the Florida Omnibus AIDS act, will be covered as this relates to skilled therapy providers in the state of Florida.
Target Audience: Physical Therapists, Physical Therapist Assistants, Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapy Assistants, Athletic Trainers

the overall information was well presented. the video resources were helpful, however, the volume on those sections could be louder\/clearer.
