This course promotes the understanding of implicit bias among healthcare professionals. It addresses how implicit bias differs from explicit bias; how implicit bias develops over time; and how these biases often have negative consequences particularly in healthcare. Furthermore, implicit bias and its effect on patient-provider interactions, communications, treatment, access, and delivery will be examined; as well as strategies to recognize and reduce implicit bias.
Target Audience: Physical Therapists, Physical Therapist Assistants, Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapy Assistants, Speech-Language Pathologists

i think there is implicit bias in the creation of this video. it might be unconscious.
