Evidence-Based Rehabilitation Strategies for Joint Replacement

Joint replacement surgeries have become an increasingly popular intervention for active individuals limited by symptoms of osteoarthritis, including pain, stiffness, restricted mobility, and loss of motion. Rehabilitation programs focus on improving strength, range of motion, balance, and functionalmobility, however there can be a great disparity between clinical approaches, which may affect patient outcomes. You will be given multiple examples of protocol strategies and goals for progression from each stage of healing.
