Manual therapy has long been used as a treatment modality to help decrease pain and improve other patient outcomes in the rehab world. Despite updated research and evidence to the contrary, many clinicians today still cling to the outdated proposed mechanisms they learned early in theircareer to explain the effects of manual therapy. This coursewill tackle some of these myths head-on, and help attendees recalibrate their approach to using this valuable treatment tool.
Target Audience: Physical Therapists, Physical Therapist Assistants, Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapy Assistants, Athletic Trainers
