i thought it was very helpful in making recommendations for what to do if you suspect someone is suicidal. steps to take, plans for the the person to help themselves and resources.

i took this course to satisfy a requirement for my pt license requirement. i felt the instructor was all over the place and was i did not come away with an "plan" to deal with mental health crises. i feel like some of the information provided was outside the scope of what i should be doing. to suggest i call a patient to come to the office to talk about someone's reported concerns for suicide is crazy.

lecture was slow-paced. more information on clinical relevance and treatment\/interviewing would be beneficial. a lot covered the history of suicide.

this presenter gave examples from multiple settings and age groups.
