Additional Information

Following brain injury, the recovering patient requires dynamic and ongoing assessment and treatment to facilitate maximal recovery. Neuroplasticity, the ability to form new connections or reorganize existing connections, is a critical process in healing that takes the expertise of a skilled rehabilitation therapist to nurture. Dual tasking, whenconsidered carefully and implemented appropriately, can be apowerful method of stimulating neuroplasticity and maximize functional improvement. This webinar will provide the rehabilitation therapist with decision-making tools to determine when dual tasking is appropriate and how it can beincorporated into treatment. Clinicians will receive tools to immediately incorporate dual tasking into treatment activities and home exercise programming for patients following brain injury to help them reach their goals.

the speaker was not super engaging and seemed to talk around the questions being asked instead of answering head on. it's ok to not have an answer, just say it.
