Abnormal muscle tone can significantly impact a patient's mobility, independence, and overall functional outcomes, yet clinicians often struggle with how to assess and manage it effectively. Research indicates that early intervention and targeted treatment strategies can improve patient outcomes and optimize reimbursement by enhancing daily function. Without proper management, tone-related impairments canlead to decreased independence, increased caregiver burden, and reduced quality of life. As healthcareprofessionals, it is critical to recognize, assess, and interveneappropriately to maximize functional gains.
This course will provide an in-depth exploration of tone, including the various factors that influence it and evidence- based strategies to assess and treat tone effectively. Participants will develop intervention techniques that can be immediately applied in clinical practice. Through case studies, guided practice, and practical demonstrations, attendees will gain confidence in evaluating tone, implementing targeted treatments, and educating patients to improve functional independence. By the end of this course, clinicians will be equipped with actionable strategies to enhance patient outcomes and support optimal reimbursement throughimproved function.

the video presentations were not the greatest. it wasn't what she was showing, it was how it showed on the screen. i had to keep moving the bar down below to move the picture so i could see and then it would bounce around. i am on a laptop with a standard screen so i found the overall size of the webinar to be difficult to fully visualize since it was so spread out.
