Pulmonary health conditions adversely affect tens of millions of Americans with financial costs exceeding 50 billion dollars annually. Far beyond the numbers, people suffering with pulmonary issues frequently experience physical loss offunction, immune compromise, and debilitating anxiety and depression. Tai Chi, which is typified by slow, graceful movements and coordinated breathing has been shownrepeatedly in health-related research to enhance physical function, breath capacity, cardiovascular endurance as well as emotional and psychological wellbeing in people sufferingwith pulmonary conditions. More than just movement practices however Tai Chi is also steeped in an ancient philosophy advocating balance and harmony in all areas of life.

brian is an excellent teacher who does a great job engaging his audience, and the content and pacing are both perfect. it's amazing how quickly a six hour course can go by when the instructor is both an expert in their field and an excellent public speaker.
