Additional Information

While vestibular rehabilitation (VR) has become standard therapy practice, it remains an intimidating arena for most non-specialized clinicians. In most settings, however, there is a high probability that a therapist will encounter a patient withthe need for vestibular intervention that cannot readily be referred to a specialist. This course will break down VR into an easily digestible format that will enable the general practitioner to understand the basic pathology and presentation of the most common vestibular disorders. We will then outline interventions that are both straightforward andeffective, while also discussing when to refer to otherpractitioners or physicians.
