Lisa Milliken, MA, CCC-SLP, FNAP, CDP, RAC-CT, CADDT, has served as a practitioner, regional manager, vice president, consultant, compliance director and education specialist. She has lectured at the state and national level with over 400 interprofessional healthcare continuing education courses and is currently Director of Research and Program Development for Regency IHS and is the owner of Milliken Healthcare Consulting. Lisa is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, where she has served as State Advocate for Medicare Policy for Texas for the past 14 years. She is also Past President of the Texas Speech- Language and Hearing Association for is President Elect of the Council of State Association Presidents and is a Distinguished Fellow of Public Policy for the National Academies of Practice (NAP), where she is Chair-Elect of the Speech Pathology Academy of NAP. She is a Certified Alzheimer's Disease and Dementia Care Trainer (CADDCT), is author of the book: Resiliency: Rising Above Life's Challenges, and volunteers with community programs across Texas to support caregivers of family members living with multiple disorders.
