Matthew Connell

Matthew Connell, Ed.D., MPT is a physical therapist by education who now serves as a leader in the higher education and healthcare consulting arenas. Dr. Connell is the Vice President for Healthcare at Ivy Tech Community College in Indiana and is the founder and president of Connell Consulting Solutions, a healthcare consulting firm started in 2017. Dr. Connell earned his doctorate degree in leadership from the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, KY where his research focused on leadership in Healthcare and Healthcare education. Dr. Connell holds a Master of Physical Therapy, and a Bachelor of Science degree from Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. Dr. Connell is an experienced leader, educator, professional trainer, consultant, and public speaker who is committed to cultivating cultures that pair access opportunities with resources for success.
