Trevor Shawber

Trevor Shawber, MBA, B.S., PTA, currently serves as an Executive Director in senior living after beginning his career as a Physical Therapist Assistant. His experience spans both clinical practice and healthcare leadership, allowing him to bring a unique perspective to the challenges new graduates face as they transition into practice. He oversees the daily operations of a large independent living community, leading interdisciplinary teams while focusing on quality improvement, resident satisfaction, and operational excellence. Trevor earned his Bachelor of Science in Integrated Health Sciences and his Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in Healthcare Management. He is passionate about clinician development, leadership, and healthcare education, and enjoys presenting on topics that help healthcare professionals build confidence, strengthen communication skills, and achieve long-term success in their careers, particularly new graduates.
