Victoria Wood

OTR/L
Victoria Wood, OTR/L is an occupational therapist with over 30 years of pediatric practice experience across home health, daycare, schools, outpatient clinics, and inpatient rehab settings. She recently retired from clinical practice as a pediatric occupational therapist. In retirement, Victoria continues to serve as a Summit faculty lecturer and educator, teaching courses on a range of pediatric therapy topics. A confident public speaker who genuinely enjoys teaching, she has recorded several webinars and podcasts for Summit on topics including Picky Eating, Sensory Processing Disorder Over the Lifespan, Virtual Autism (The Dangers of Too Much Electronics), Canine Assisted Therapy, Pediatric Behavioral Interventions, and Sensory Diets. In fall 2026, she will return to presenting live courses in cities across the United States. Victoria is the proud author of a 2019 book Seeing Your Home and Community with Sensory Eyes, a valuable resource for anyone working with individuals who have sensory processing disorder. The book is available on Amazon and through The OT Toolbox. She holds certifications in therapeutic listening, is SOS and Beckman Oral Motor trained, and has completed more than 40 continuing education courses over the course of her career. Victoria has also supervised more than 15 graduate-level students and over 25 undergraduate students. Outside of work, Victoria and her husband spend as much time as they can outdoors or traveling. She is happily married with two grown daughters, two grown stepsons, dogs Polly and Wrigley, and one adored grandson, on whom she is delighted to practice all her favorite OT techniques.
