Nocturnal enuresis affects 5-7 million children in the U.S with roughly 15% of 5-year-olds wetting the bed at night and 1-2% still wetting at age 15. Bedwetting is known to cause significant social and emotional issues and has even been indicated as a precursor to child abuse.
