Additional Information

It is estimated that >20% of BADLs and >30% of IADLs are impaired in those immediately post stroke, (Gil-Salcedo, et al. 2022). These ADL impairments continue to increase in percentage every year post stroke, (Gil-Salcedo, et al. 2022). This statistic calls for not only initial occupational therapy, but long-term occupational therapy throughout a stroke survivor's journey. This 2-hour webinar will provide practical andevidence-based ADL assessments that can be used initially, or later, in an episode of care. Effective tips for improving BADL and IADLs will be provided. Occupational therapists and occupational therapy assistants will leave with a toolbox of new ADL tools that can be used immediately.

Target Audience: Occupational Therapists, Occupational Therapy Assistants

Diane (VT) on May 20, 2026

the information was informative. however, i did not think that the video of the stroke patient, represented the material - at all. the course was about adaptive equipment, but, he was not educated on anything to improve his adl activity. a great video for lnas and maybe nurses, but not rehab
