Additional Information

Opioids, joint replacements, corticosteroids, and other medicines are not benign. One out of every 4 patients with knee replacements will have on-going pain. Opioids lead to more dysfunctional pain patterns in many lives. Empowering patients with simple, solid, and powerful interventions in the early phases of injury and healing can decrease their fear and improve their ability to participate in active rehabilitation steps. This course will return to the forgotten basics of how to effectively and consistently develop a facility protocol forpatient instructions on pain management physical modalities.Participants will learn how to explain and prescribe in non-negotiable terms how a patient can use rehabilitation interventions for multiple health dysfunctions with positiveresults and medicinal side effects.
